Aptuitiv Studio Press provides the ability to easily add press releases or news items to the website.

Features

  • The ability to create, edit, and delete press releases.
  • The ability to set and edit a boilerplate footer, “About SMCC”, that will automatically be displayed at the bottom of every press release.
  • The ability to schedule or embargo press releases so that, though loaded onto the site, they will be published at a future date.
  • The ability for a press release to be automatically archived at a certain date.
  • Automatic resizing of images.

The information that can be added for each press release or news items includes: 

  • Title.
  • An optional icon image to appear on the list of press releases.
  • Multiple images and image captions.
  • Optional high-resolution images for other publishers such as newspapers or magazines to use. Each image can also have an optional description, caption, and copyright statement.
  • The date for the press release.
  • A brief synopsis that will appear on the list of press releases; and the full press release.

The features for the public site include: 

  • Automatic creation of the main news page that will display the most recent press releases.
  • Automatic creation of archive pages for each year that press releases are created.
  • The visitor will be able to click on an image for the press release to view a larger version.
